240 condominium hotel units include 80 one-bedroom units averaging 700 square feet and 160 two bedroom units averaging 1000 square feet. All units will include balconies or patios and will be professionally decorated and fully furnished. Each unit will include either king-sized beds or two full sized beds, couches with fold-away beds, dinettes, and color televisions in each living space. Other features include high-speed internet connections, full kitchenettes, ceramic tile flooring, granite and cultured marble countertops, 9' ceilings and upgraded cabinets. Alternative furniture packages will be available to unit owners for an additional cost.
Mona Lisa at Celebration is not for everyone. If you are looking for a full time residence, Mona Lisa at Celebration is not an option. Unit owners are limited to personal use of 179 days per year. This restriction is based upon local hotel zoning, rather than simply imposed by the developer.
However, if you travel to the Walt Disney World resort and are looking for a vacation home this may be the best option for you. The hotel management company will rent your unit when you are not using it on a rotation basis at prevailing hotel rates. Luxury hotels in the Disney area historically have a higher room rate and occupancy than other areas in Orlando and the national average. Room rents are split with 60% of the rent to the unit owner, 35% to the management company and 5% to a reserve for maintenance and repair of the unit interiors.
